I'm still fond of my senior thesis. I wanted to create a space that told a story, while holding the stories of others. Finding the community in southern California that was in need of a library was easy; it was picking a story to start my design with was the difficult part. I finally chose a Native American legend "The White Trail in the Sky", about finding heaven after the hardship of life. Light, dark, transitions and thresholds became the theme of the piece.
