“Edible. Grandfather’s Pajamas” - were the active design ingredients for this boutique pie shop in Center City, Philadelphia, PA.
Storefront Challenge Winner “UP AGAINST THE WALL: For best flat signage, South Street West newcomer, Magpie, won over judges with the large-scale placement of Magpie’s round logo across the facade – doors, windows and all.”
My role included design documentation, interior design direction, space layout, as well as perspective and elevation image production. All phases of the design process were developed by myself in close coordination with the Principal Designer, contractor and client. Photos courtesy of owner, Holly Riccardi.
*The term ‘nanna chic’ was used in reference to the new store by Philadelphia Inquirer’s Restaurant Critic, Craig LaBan.
