Hydrophilic Morphology

This group project proposes a flexible, layered roof to collect, distribute and store rainwater. The roof was designed to separate and store non-potable as well as potable water in two different systems.
The advantage of this new roof system could be especially advantageous for greenhouse designs. The non-potable water (used for watering plants) is stored in ‘bellies’ on the underside of the roof that then get distributed locally through hoses, while the potable water is collected into centrally located bladders.
