Farchitecture, LLC’s first project, Coolhaus, Inc., plays off architectural inspirations from names to design regimes to deliver gourmet, made-to-order ice cream sandwiches to the streets, parking lots, stages and events of Los Angeles. Collaborating with Coolhaus, Inc. provided a unique opportunity to design and equip an old postal service truck into an ice cream sandwich shop on wheels.
Additionally, the Coolhaus store and headquarters is another type of unique retail experience, with the service area designed to bring the street to the parked ice cream ‘truck’ inside. It was also great to collaborate with local artists installing pieces inside the shop.
Construction was completed November 2011.
