Looking at the pre-cast panels on the south facade. They increase the mass on the facade and absorb heat from the sun to help naturally cool the building.

UWM School of Freshwater Sciences

Main project in a studio focused on understanding the ins and outs of pre-cast concrete.

Status: School Project

Roof and south facade are the main elements to the project.

The woven texture of the roof helps to create interest and a focal point through out the building as well creates an interesting lighting affect. The wave form would be pre-cast in sections, and is a metaphor for water and the ideas of the school.
