Adaptive-use of this 1907 Cass Gilbert landmark carefully restored public spaces and created the new National Museum of the American Indian. The clients consisted of the GSA, the Smithsonian and US Bankruptcy Courts. Exacting stanards for all users in an aging and abandoned structure made this a challenging project, yet innovative.
