Net Zero Energy Construction is possible and affordable. Through this project our team if
challenged to prove this reality. From real state search, development, architectural design, systems
design, construction methods, life cycle and risk analysis, the design allows us to explore an
understand deeper the meaning of low energy consumption through functional contruction practices.
The site, a 1.4 acre located in the industrial area of renovated Hoewll Mill road, provides the perfect
environment for multifamily units. Our site is located adjacent to a residential area and 1 to 2 miles walkable distance from commercial center whcih makes it particularly special. While densely vegetated at the edges of the property, the orientation of the site, suggest for a narrow placement to avoid the southern exposure and be constantly ventilated by the north east heading winds.
