It is a master plan for  landscape planning, which is part of a larger metropolitan context. I did not consider the differences of the municipalities of the cities of Turin and Nichelino, but looked at the city as a single body in order to reinforce its character of continuity.
The goal is to design a new urban landscape, the river  now becomes the center of the project. This part of the city is the new urban center, and it has a significant environmental importance. First of all, it is important to give value to the environmental project, then, the new urban planning takes the form of a river park; The new riverfront has a predominant residential configuration marked by new centers for the commercial areas, tertiary, cultural and recreational activities. Given the vastness of the project it was necessary to prepare an implementation strategy divided into 10 stages that individually can be considered as a completed project, since they have their own identity and autonomy.

These phases make up a single plan that outlines a new possible approach to landscape planning, urban design and architecture of the city.

The final design is an urban park that occupies 181 hectares of land. The project reverts to the metropolitan area in the south of Turin’s new activity area which began with the continuation of the city planning policies. The goal is to define a new concept of the city with careful development and recovery of its territory. The Riverside area is not seen as the back of the city but it wants to be its new face, where the communal areas of Turin and Nichelino now have an open dialogue. The Sangone river is an element of union, which allows the cohesion of different characters. It will contribute to the larger project of the "Parco del Po" and "Corona Verde" of Turin.
