This project, located in the heart of Acadia, Maine, explores the possibilites of fabric architecture as a means to filter light and ventilate a shelter. A basic concrete structure meets an operable, 4 part canopy in order to both expose and provide protection to the elements. This exploration began as a study of tectonics and moving parts, and then added site anaylsis and program requirements to evolve into the scheme presented.
