Remodel of an existing 1920s masonry building in Santa Monica into a full service salon that also includes a training academy and west coast corporate headquarters for the KMS and Goldwell hair care lines.  I worked on several areas of the project, including the  reception desk, color bar and shampoo area image wall. The reception desk and color bar are custom millwork pieces that serve as sculptural elements which give a unique identity to the space, while seamlessly serving their practical purposes.  

I also worked on the storefront sign, a multi-layered custom installation that serves as unique identifying component of the facade.  The sign consists of a large scale anodized aluminum store logo and a sandblasted acrylic panes lit with LEDs.
