Center for Urban Farming

The project integrates human occupation, collection of the bi-products ion human occupation, and agricultural development and research.

The cycle of consumption and production being isolated, wast is no longer externalized, but integrated in the production cycle. Bio-wastes feed the agricultural products, grown in layered fields and terrestrial orchards. Collected methane significantly reduces the necessity for external power. Agricultural products do not require transportation as the occupants create the market, and the energy used for transportation of consumable goods is eliminated.

Being largely self sufficient, the project creates a reproducible model capable of providing the same energy independent habitation in a variety of environments.
