Academic Design Project: The location is a mangrove island in the Florida Keys.  The program is an ecological research center where the rich, vibrant, and delicate ecosystem of the Florida Keys can be studied scientifically. Visitors can visit by kayak or boat to experience the walking trails, the historic Matheson House, and observation towers that provide endless views of the surrounding tidal flats.
