The objective of this project was to design a Museum of Florida Architecture and Design as well as to develop the surrounding site. Located in Miami, the site sits across from the American Airlines Arena and Bayside Shops. The concept for the building and the site was based on collecting the natural breezes from the bay to the southeast. The building was designed to blur the line between what is interior and exterior. This was accomplished by implementing multiple breezeways and a complex circulation path that was designed to guide visitors through the breezeways and the various exhibition spaces.
