Noteworthy: I was heavily involved in the management of this project through construction. One component I designed was a custom aluminum ladder for the main bookcase in the family room (lower right image). The ladder pivots out, the rungs slide down and there is a counterweight system integrated within the casework to assist these functions. The house was featured in Architectural Digest, June 2009.
