The Visitor's Center attempts to tackle the issue of representing geological time as a physical space. Creating layers of information spreading from the core wall out to the exterior walls, the information is meted out from general to specific, from era to ecosystem to species. A detailed study of casework and graphic design was my focus for this quarter, for this was the first time I had an opportunity to work at such a small scale.
