These were two school projects in which we tackled two opposing scales: one being an entire city block in New York city and the other a small existing building within the intricate urban language of Venice. While both are conceptual designs, research, context, history, language, and materiality play a big factor in how they are perceived and understood by the inhabitant and the client.
