Billjohn Residence

As part of a design team living in Southeast Utah, designed and built a home for a family in need on the
Navajo reservation. An 800-SF house utilizing SIP construction was completed by a studio of 20 students, and is a response to the existing shade house on the site as well as the horizontal nature of the surrounding landscape

We were responsible for the client meetings, schematic design, construction documents, scheduling, purchasing and construction of the residence. My focus was on coordinating and completing the construction and fabrication drawings as well as the prefabrication and installation of the cedar shade screen.

My team created and executed the processes to prefab and install an +8000 component assembly of the cedar and aluminum shade screen that covers two sides of the house.
