About

I’m a Student Life strategist and designer, passionate about designing for the “whole student,” knowing that growth doesn’t just happen in the classroom.

While my experience crosses multiple typologies and scales, including Multi-Family, Healthcare, and Installation projects, my expertise lies in collaborating with Higher Education institutions on a variety of campus life, student housing, and wellness spaces. My work focuses on the creation of spaces that foster community, inspire connection, and stimulate growth. By pairing research and data, with direct user group insight, I work with our clients to craft a redefined experience which supports the academic success, social development, and well-being of today's students as well as future generations.

Outside of my professional work, I am active in supporting youth education and mentorship. I help lead community outreach efforts empowering youth through design thinking and exploration, as well as emerging designers through professional development and leadership programming. I am also a member of CannonDesign’s Next Council, where I engage with offices and leadership across the firm on initiatives surrounding client engagement and leveraging technology and data.

Visual Artist : Light Installation, Award

Our project submission was chosen by a jury of five from over 150 pieces submitted for the inaugural Light City Baltimore Festival.

Our project, LightWave: Baltimore's Beacon, is located at the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse at Pier V, and focuses on the translation of sound into waves of light visualization.

The installation brings to light the words and sounds of WYPR's Out of the Blocks Series that focuses on telling the stories of each of Baltimore's unique neighborhoods.

My role was Project Manager of the team of nine. I created the project proposal, organized the project team and schedule, and coordinated festival logistics and budget with BOPA. I was also instrumental in conception of the overall design and final construction of the piece.
