He has extensive design experience with many project types such as multi-family residential, commercial, mixed use, higher education, science & technology and health care.
John has been described as a self-motivated and independent thinker with a wide breadth of talents. John is a strong conceptual designer with a keen eye for composition and form-making. My role at Allied Works was to collaborate directly with the firm's leader, Brad Cloepfil, on the Sacks Building, a groundbreaking mixed use building in Northwest Portland, and the Wieden & Kennedy headquarters building, a notable adaptive re-use of an existing historic landmark building.
