About

Professional Goal:
To work within a fun, creative team environment where my Design, Technology, and Customer Service skills can be utilized to enhance the firms capabilities to provide superior services that exceed client expectations.

Born and raised in rural Northern New Mexico, I grew up regarding nature as my playground. I spent more days climbing around canyons, mountains and valleys than I can quantify. Every day was an adventure and the scenery was unparalleled. I was the classic architecture kid, built great creations with Legos, cut up cardboard boxes to create buildings and played until dark laying out the next great city with my Tonka trucks. These early experiences pushed me to study Architecture at the University of New Mexico.

Under the tutelage of great instructors and mentors, a great appreciation for design was instilled in me. While studying and after college, I worked in various locals. Each location has a unique vernacular architectural style and each style has an influence on every project I design. Massing from New Mexico, open views from Texas, wood aesthetics from the Pacific Northwest, and a material palette from all, help to create a perfect architectural blend.

I view every project with enthusiasm and anticipation, much like those early Lego creations. I like to think that I have no preconceived notion about the final design and aesthetics of each project at the onset. Each project is it's own entity, defined by client's insight, site conditions, environment and projects I have recently seen that have piqued my interest.
