About

Over the last six years I’ve consistently been working as an architect in architectural and urban planning projects of distinct program types and scales, ranging from small historic housing unit rehabilitation to large healthcare facilities in all project phases, from schematic design to construction overview and assistance.

After graduating in 2007, together with my internship mentor, have become a founding member of Lisbon Design Studio and have since established several on-going partnerships with various consultants, academia, real-estate agents and architecture firms, including 2011 Pritzker Prize Laureate Eduardo Souto de Moura and Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

In the latter years, I’ve taken the interest and responsibility of researching and developing smarter work-flow methodologies using Standards and Building Information Modeling strategies, giving more emphasis on the creative side of developing ideas. Since october 2013, I've beeing  teaching BIM Technologies and Parametric Design in part-time at Lusofona University in Lisbon, Portugal as a Teacher's Assistant. I've been invited to teach "BIM Tools, Platforms and Environments: an Introduction to Parametric Modeling and SMARTBuilding" (Master Degree) at the same college.

I am a pragmatic, fast-learner and hardworking Architect with high standards who gives a lot of attention to detail. I feel very comfortable in my skills in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop and InDesign as other software and am now searching elsewhere for a new opportunity to grow.

Other experience includes:

-New Client Attainment;
-Team Management;
-Standards, Methods and Protocols creation and maintenance;
-Work optimization/ new technologies research;
-Integrated Project Delivery;
-Marketing Campaign and Presentation Development (web, graphic, portfolio designer);
-Information Technologies System implementation and maintenance;
-Administrative decision maker/influencer.
