About

I am passionate about the construction documentation process and documents that prioritize effective communication. I respect the building codes' purpose of setting standards for safe and accessible buildings and do not see them as a hinderance to beautiful built environments. But I also enjoy the challenge of achieving both a designer's goal and compliance. I enjoy doors and door hardware for some strange reason. Hand sketching is my first go to tool when trying to either understand a colleagues concern or express an idea to another. I do not underestimate the effectiveness of an image over a 1000 words. It seems to me that we are in the early stages of an age where documents are being assembled more than they are drawn. The ramifications of this transfer are still being revealed. I am licensed in the States of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
