About 

I most recently worked as an Event Sales Manager at TGIS Catering Company, where I personally met with clients to plan and cater their events, including large weddings, fundraisers, and private parties.  I handled all ordering of rental items, booking event staff, designing/setting up décor, and making sure the event ran smoothly and within its allotted time frame and budget.  I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which allows me to better work one-on-one with clients on a personal level.  I also helped promote, grow, and successfully manage the company’s Kosher Catering division, “L’ Chaim Glatt Kosher,” which includes an offsite glatt Kosher kitchen that caters specifically to those of the Jewish faith.  I was able to advertise and market the Kosher catering division by using my vast knowledge of popular social media outlets, which I have become an expert at navigating.

I graduated with honors from the University of California Santa Barbara with a BA in Art Studio and Art History.  While all of my summer internships, study abroad programs, and ancillary jobs revolved around art and employed my creative talents, I began as a financial advisor at Merrill Lynch on one of Los Angeles’ most prestigious and successful teams.  Having earned my Series 7 and Series 66 credentials, I provided financial retirement planning advice to High-Net Worth individuals.  In addition, I also acted as my team’s lead marketing director and event planner, where I organized, invited clients, and co-hosted all client appreciation and prospecting dinners.  These affairs were highly successful in recruiting other high-net worth clients to the team’s growing book of business. 

I excel at coordinating and planning, possess meticulous organizational skills, am exceedingly creative, and fortunately have an acute business mind as well.  My education in Art Studio and Art History has given me a creative foundation to think “outside the box,” while my work experience at one of the finest brokerage firms has given me the skills to work well with colleagues, effectively multitask, and be financially savvy as well.
