My name is Hayley A Ehart. I am a recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Interior Design (FIDM). Over my years of schooling, I developed a strong passion for design and have hopes of making it my life long career.
While attending school as a full-time student, I also held a full-time job at Partners Federal Credit Union, which is part of the Walt Disney Company. Through my training with Disney I have learned the importance of excellent customer service and the strength that comes from outstanding teamwork. Also, during that time, while both working and going to school, I have learned the meaning of time management, multitasking, hard work and dedication. I maintained high honors in all of my classes during my tenure at FIDM and am a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.
I take great pride in who I am, where I came from, and where I hope to go. This is reflected in my work ethic, commitment and the results I produce. I take every job I am given seriously and complete it to the best of my ability. I am a natural-born leader and love to be challenged, but have no problem admitting when I need help. Learning new things is one of the aspects of a job and life that I enjoy most of all. I am a think outside-the-box type of person, a fast learner and I work well under pressure. With the enthusiasm and skill set I have already developed for design, given the opportunity I am confident that I will excel in this industry.
I have spent the last year and a half at Ehrlich Architects, a firm located in Culver City, as an executive assistant to the owner/principal architect, Steven Ehrlich as well as an executive assistant to the Director of Business Development. While I have learned a great deal and know there is still much to be taught, I am seeking an opportunity that will allow me to better utilize my design talents.
