About

For the past three years I have worked at Asfour Guzy Architects in New York as a Project Manager/Architect, specializing in high-end residential ($2m-$14m) and restaurant ($750k-$1.5m) projects at the company. During my time at AGA, I was given significant responsibilities in overseeing my own projects from conceptual design to construction administration as well as managing a design team at various phases of projects. As a Project Manager at AGA, I worked closely with all consultants and contractors and developed great relationships with clients and client reps to ensure all projects were run smoothly and efficiently. Prior to AGA, I worked as a project manager at SPaN where I had honed my skills in high-end residential projects and historic preservation. I have also worked at a leading sustainable design firm where I was trained to integrate sustainability and green building technology into the design and construction of our projects. Throughout my time at various offices, I gained valuable first hand experience with the many and varied aspects of architectural practice.

With a solid design background and project management experience, I have proven myself to be design and detail oriented, enjoying all stages from conceptual design through construction administration to project completion. The practical field knowledge I have gained through construction administration helps me be a better designer, project manager and most importantly, a problem solver. Hands-on experience includes, but is not limited to: Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, Design development, DOB approval process, job bidding, multiple city agency requirements, building analysis, zoning studies, sourcing, construction administration, project proposals and competition submissions.

During my time in New York, I have worked closely and developed great relationships with many of the top consultants, contractor, and vendors in New York and beyond and look forward to do the same in the Bay area. Through interaction with consultants, clients, contractors, and city officials, I have been exposed to the many facets of architectural practice and have proved myself a skilled and diligent worker. I would make a valuable addition to your team and as a member of your team, I would bring my enthusiasm and experience to bear and embrace new challenges.
