About

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/shanita-d-rutland/11/981/104/

A team oriented professional with a strong background in architectural and graphic design with a portfolio that includes various stages of design in commercial/retail, residential, education, hospitality, and corporate office design. Excellent visualization skills, computer-generated imagery, art direction, management, coordination and production. I perform well in dynamic and multi-faceted environments where I consistently meet deadlines and maintain current industry trends and software advancements.

To sum up my design thought and process, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry says it best, “A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral.”  My interpretation is that beauty can be constructed out of almost anything; one has to have the creative drive and imagination to envision an idea that others will enjoy.
