I graduated from Temple University's School of Environmental Design and received my Bachelor's of Science in Landscape Architecture in May 2012. I am looking to pursue obtaining my LEED certification sometime in the near future, working towards taking the LARE. Currently, I am seeking an Entry Level position and reside in New Jersey just across the bridge from Philadelphia, but would be willing to relocate if necessary.
I have a keen ability to adapt quickly to my surroundings and learn new techniques at a fast pace, which I conveniently found out during my Study Abroad Program in Rome, Italy. I believe that with my creativity, ability to think outside the box, work ethic, and ability to adsorb information quickly, I would make an ideal addition to any company.
Through my university courses both in and out of the country, I have had experience with a wide range of skills. My projects over the years have been heavily team based and ranged from multi-use neighborhood revitalizations to residential design and urban planning, but most importantly to me, sustainable design. I am proud to have been part of design teams who have received multiple recognition throughout my years at Temple including: the Student Honor Award for the 2011 Philadelphia Flower Show Exhibit "Ecolibrium" from the PA/DEL Chapter, and both a National Honor Award and PA/DEL Chapter Honor Award for "Envisioning Francisville's Future" for Analysis and Planning.
In addition to creating renderings and presentations using not only hand renderings, but a variety of computer skills as well, I have also had experience researching zoning codes, understanding city ordinances, and preparing CAD details and construction documents during my college career. My classmates and I even produced a student publication in less than a semester for the City of Philadelphia titled "via|Philadelphia" and was based upon the revitalization/rejuvenation of an abandoned railroad located in the heart of the city.
