Responsible for production of construction documents and project management for small commercial projects including the renovation of apartment buildings for Community Housing of Maine (CHOM) in association with MaineHousing, utilizing AutoCAD and Microstation. As an integral member of this small firm I worked alongside the project architect from conception through completion sketching schematic plans, elevations and details, refining the design and assisting with construction administration tasks such as preparing and issuing addenda and meeting minutes, reviewing submittals, and attending requisition meetings. I also coordinated the design with consulting structural, mechanical and electrical engineers.

At this custom residential design-build firm my primary role encompassed design, drafting and project management on residential projects such as kitchen and bath renovations, additions and new homes. Utilizing AutoCAD and sketchup as well as hand drawings, I worked closely with clients and the construction crew to produce projects that focus on achieving client goals – budget, schedule and spatial needs – while maintaining an emphasis on traditional New England design and craftsmanship. My secondary role included maintaining and troubleshooting the office computer network and workstations.
