About

Born and raised in Bulgaria, EU, Evie relocated to the US to attend the College of Architecture at Ball State University. In the following five years, she traveled throughout the states and Europe and studied in Canada, Italy, and Miami, FL.

In 2005, she began work at BDMD Architects as an architectural designer. In her seven ++ years of practice there, Evie designed and navigated a wide variety of building types - from sculpture installations and interior build-outs to ground-up mid-rise residential and mixed use projects, hotels, medical and office buildings, churches, music and performance halls, museums, etc.

Evie believes in creating strong, coherent concepts (spatial or social), and layering them throughout all design decisions, down to the finest obsessive detail. Establishing an open collaborative environment is key in her creative process and she attributes the success of her projects to the close relationships with her clients and consultants.

Evie established her private practice in 2012 and currently works on light commercial and residential projects and teaches design in 3D media at the Indianapolis Art Center.
