McNaughton Country Construction, LLC, Marlborough, CT, US, Construction Assistant

During the summer of 2012, I worked alongside a professional contractor to disassemble and reconstruct a late 19th century gable-roof barn in Glastonbury, CT. We entirely removed the barn's siding and roof, identified framework that needed replacing, replaced necessary framework, resided the barn, and installed a new corrugated tin roof. During the earlier stages of the project I created three-dimensional computer drawings of the barn's framework to in order to visually represent the amount of required new support and to calculate the cost of new wood. And during the later stages of the project I created three-dimensional renderings of what the exterior of the new barn might look like with different siding and roofing options.
