Archeworks, Chicago, IL, US, Research Workshop Participant
I collaborated in a research initiative to develop new architectural discourse on urban regionalism for Chicago. During the workshop we created layered maps, written report, and photo essay based on the research findings. An exhibition and publication of the workshop research will take place in the city this coming fall.
BAM Global Think Tank, Chiang Mai, TH, Communications and Research Assistant
I collected research from business practitioner interviews in Indonesia, Nepal, and Cambodia, which included writing 21 business case studies and 2 SWOT analysis. In my role I assisted in organizing a leaders forum of 70 people and a conference with 530 delegates from 41 countries to listen, learn, connect and share about businesses with economic, environmental, social and ethical impact. I also designed a conference booklet, postcards, banners, badges, graphic icons, staging, reusable bags for delegates at the conference.

I led design and drawing workshops at three different geographic sites for groups of 30-80 children in Uganda. Our team then collected sketches to be printed into textiles designed by the children. After the trip. Inspired by the drawings of students, I used various sketches to create patterns in multiple colors for the manufacture of textiles.

In my role as art director I organized and led art and design projects for groups of 10-100 campers, staff, and volunteers. I maximized budget by recycling existing materials, identifying natural resources that could be used, and allocated unspent funds to support local community needs. I then created projects that utilized design process included exploring resourceful innovations to sustainability, cross-cultural approaches to design, and meeting local community needs through social engagement.
World Relief, Wheaton, IL, US, Marketing and Special Events Intern
I collaborated with Marketing and Communications Director and other departments to plan, organize, and design the visual exhibition at the Annual Benefit. In my role I strategized to make the design explain to donors the work being accomplished by the organization and inspire them to participate in the effort. I also utilized numerous media to educate donors, including text, visual created objects, and fixtures.

I collaborated to present an exhibition displaying first generation Swedish-American artists’ work that connects their personal stories to a dialogue with immigrants of different cultures coming to Sweden today. I also organized press articles, community/museum programs, and group tours.

In my internship I cooperated with in-house design team to create and implement visual designs and aesthetics for specific concepts. I prepared, installed, and built window, wall, and ceiling installations as well as fixtures for products in the store.
