About

I have recently graduated from the University of Florida with my Masters of Architecture and I am eager to begin work as an intern. I have extensive knowledge of a variety of drafting and modeling programs. While I have the most experience with AutoCAD for 2D drawings, and Rhino for 3D modeling, I have been told that I am a fast learner and shouldn’t have any trouble adjusting to an environment where other programs are preferred. I have been working with AutoCAD well before I began studying at UF and feel very competent with that software. Additionally the School of Architecture has taught me effective ways to use 3D modeling programs in conjunction with Photoshop, in order to design immersive presentation images. Some of my most recent work involved taking these immersive renderings from Photoshop into Adobe's After Effects software, making 'stages' in which to animate qualities of the space. These animations help to better convey design intentions to clients and team members and hopefully these tools will be useful for future projects your firm may be working on.

Nassau County Department of Emergency Management, Yulee, FL, US, Intern

As a Summer Intern working for the Department Chair Nancy Freeman, my primary task was to design preliminary design documents for an upcoming building project. I was able to work closely with the The Nassau County Department of Emergency Management team in order to fully understand the requirements needed to design their weather hardened operation center. With the use of 3D modeling programs, I was able to create images and animations to successfully convey solutions to these design requirements, both to the team members at the Emergency Management Department as well as to the architectural firm that eventually won the bid for the final project.
