About

I graduated cum laude from Illinois Institute of Technology in May of 2010 with a Bachelor of Architecture.  Since graduation, I have been working part time for a small start-up housing rehab company designing their housing rehabilitation projects.  I also spent a few weeks interning part time for Foster Dale Architects, helping them out on an addition for a preschool in Chicago.  I also spent a few months managing a new kosher pizza restaurant that opened up in the Chicago suburbs, where in addition to managing the restaurant, I was responsible for building and maintaining the restaurant website as well as the design of the menu and other restaurant related items.

I am looking for a firm with an excellent reputation where I can utilize the experience and skills I have acquired at IIT to enhance the goals of the firm. I am passionate regarding architecture.  I am constantly trying to stay up to date with new materials, technologies, and advances in sustainable design. The knowledge I bring with me, along with my willingness and eagerness to learn will allow me to add value to any architectural firm.

Throughout my years at IIT, I took studios which offered a great deal of knowledge and diversity across the field of architecture, including - modular housing, education, public works, and hospitality. I am proficient in AutoCAD, having used the program throughout most of my tenure at IIT. Additionally, I have gained strong digital modeling skills, design, and programming aptitude, as well as extensive knowledge of Revit. I have also gained experience through my past and current positions working for structural engineers and architects in and around Chicago. I worked on a variety of projects, which included a casino, elementary school, night club and more. These experiences combined with my skill set make me an excellent choice to become an integral part of any architectural firm.

Additionally, I am exceptionally reliable, a quick study, self-starter and will bring new ideas and a positive attitude to the table.
