About

I am currently working as an architectural designer at Peter Marino Architect in New York City. Peter Marino Architect (PMA) www.petermarinoarchitect.com is an internationally acclaimed architectural design firm, working for flagship store for elite brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Zegna and Fendi, in all over the major cities, such as New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Milan, Seoul, Hong Kong and Beijing. PMA’s design in area of commercial and luxury retail architecture have helped redefine modern luxury world, emphasizing materiality, texture, scale and lighting. By developing numerous stores, PMA creates unique and classic retail icons for different brands.

As a key designer, I worked on FENDI New York store project, in 57th St and Madison Ave, from December 2013. The new store was open successfully on November 2014, and received great credit from publication and fashion magazines in New York. It helps FENDI redefine the new store materiality and color concept system, which will be able to apply for other new FENDI flagship stores in other cities. During the one year’s work on the 2 floors, 4,100 Sqft FENDI store, I developed all the floor plans, elevations, worked with artists for unique furniture design and selection, created rendering visualization for design reviews, and visited onsite to communicate with contractors for painting and construction details. Moreover, I am experienced with design and construction documentation, budget control and prepare proposals for material and furniture bidding for clients.

From April 2014 to present, I am also working on the new watch store HUBLOT in 5th Ave, New York. This store is planned to be open in the end of 2015. It is a one floor store with a 10-stories-high façade, which is next to the largest flagship Louis Vuitton in 5th Ave. I also participated in plenty private residential projects, in Southampton NY and Dominican Republic, working from architectural concepts, interior finishes and furniture design.

Prior to my career started in New York, I graduated from Columbia University, Master degree in Architecture and Urban Design. The one year and half’s study in Columbia helped prepare me a solid background of architectural design as well as teamwork abilities for professional work. In addition, my excellent communication skills and fast learning abilities enable me to fit in a high speed and intense working environment. Technically, I am specializing in Auto CAD, 3Ds Max, Rhino, Revit and Photoshop. I am proficient in assisting team and project leaders in design related details and documentation.
