Boutique Interior Designer looking to enhance my experiences in Hospitality Design.
I have 7+ years of experience designing in Aspen Colorado and Dallas Texas. I am a professionally trained and educated designer who is focused, but with an open minded/conceptual drive that is detail oriented and organized with a strong work ethic.
Just recently relocated to the Southern California area, I am looking to expand my design skills in the traditional role as an Interior Designer in hospitality design. Senior Designer:
Worked for a boutique design firm encompassing high end residential, spec homes, larger scale commercial projects, furniture and lighting designs. Managed all phases of the project from conceptual design to final installation including CAD drawings, presentations to clients, approvals and permits, managed and organized schedules, budgetary concerns, and contractors. Assisted in designing, creating prototypes for the launch of a lighting, cabinet hardware and furniture design. This position began as a freelance position and turned into full time employment in 2010.

Interior Designer:
Worked full time for a busy medium sized firm specializing in high end residential and commercial properties with an emphasis on retail and restaurant design. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to: conceptual design to final installation; CAD drawings, presentations to clients, City of Aspen Historical Preservation Committee, Planning and Zoning Board and Aspen City Council to obtain approvals and permits; management and organization of construction drawings, schedules, budgetary concerns, and contractors; and general office duties. This position was full time employment which I had left to pursue other freelance opportunities and have continued to work with JHD on an as needed basis.
