Christopher D. Sondi

Brooklyn, NY, US

About

Christopher Sondi received his undergraduate Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Art and Design School, Pratt Institute. He has studied Architecture, Furniture Design, Technology and Construction. Throughout his educational experience at Pratt Institute he has made it a focus to work on modern aesthetics and sensible designs. He has a strong interest in educational and institutional building typologies as well as high-rise tower design.

Christopher has had various professional experiences in the fields of architecture design, as well as construction management. He has gained a strong practical knowledge into the translation of design concepts into constructed realities. He has also worked at Pratt Institute’s architecture production shop facilities where he gained extensive knowledge in fabrication and model production techniques.

Trained as an architect, he believes that great design comes not only from having a sensible design eye, but also from experience in fabrication and construction. When a designer also becomes a craftsman, great and beautiful things can arise.

Christopher currently lives and works in New York City.

“The goal in life isn’t to live forever, but to create something that will.” Chuck Palahniuk
