About

I have spent the past four years studying and working in Europe, the last two of which have been in Paris working on international competitions. During this time, I have improved my abilities as a designer as well as developed strong 3D modeling and image production skills using Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, V-Ray, and Photoshop. I have had the opportunity to act as the lead designer in two notable competitions in Astana, Kazakhstan and Baku, Azerbaijan and have been responsible for developing concepts and collaborating directly with structural engineers and interior designers.

I have an aptitude for design and am comfortable working at all scales, from conceptualization to detailing. I appreciate the amount of work and insight required to achieve projects with a high level of quality and sophistication and am willing to invest my time as necessary. I am extremely curious and have always enjoyed pursuing new techniques and ideas in order to discover innovative methods.

Employment

Vasconi Associés Architectes, Paris, FR, Designer

I worked in a team on multiple international competitions. I was responsible for reading briefs, creating and developing concepts, spatial planning, 3D modeling with Rhino and rendering with VRay, image production and manipulation with Photoshop and presentation board layout with InDesign. Our teams often included outside consultants and partner firms such as ARUP, Bollinger+Grohmann and HL-Technik. I would often act as a liaison between our firms, meeting and working directly with their teams, often communicating across different time zones.

In addition to competition work, I was involved with developing ideas with clients for feasibility studies.

Vasconi Associés Architectes, Paris, FR, Stagiaire

I worked with our office's Hong Kong team along with MET Studio on the interior design for the world's largest sludge treatment facility in Hong Kong.

I was a part of the design team for our second prize entry for the EXPO 2017 competition in Astana, Kazakhstan. We worked with consultants and I spent most of my time focusing on the "Symbol of Astana" with the structural team from ARUP. We developed a sculptural tower and tent that would act as a focal point for the project.
