Originally from Guadalajara city (Mexico) Fernando maintains a background of several years in the real estate and construction industries in Mexico before moving to New York where he rapidly pursue professional experience. He was then hired at several engineering and architectural firms serving as project designer in various institutional and transportation projects. He later collaborated in significant projects as auditing architect for and important real estate developer, who's designs reflect excellency in the public realm including Herzog & de Meuron’s 56 Leonard Street, the recently completed One Jackson Square and Andre Balaz’s William Beaver House.

As an Architect he approaches each project from a client's perspective from an innovative, yet efficient manner. His ability stands for a neat contemporary design with a modernistic touch connecting the built elements whit the surrounding environment. The aim is to create a sense of ease and openness while focusing creatively in solving complex projects. As a Project Architect, he has been involved in all aspects of the practice, including reaching multiple goals. Its abilities span from conceptual design, detail development, consultant coordination, client communications and the construction administration process

Fernando is a founding member of Rubin Real Estate a private company in Mexico. He has been working as a partner having joined at its inception in 2009 and responsible for the design and management of such diverse projects as commercial and mix used property portfolios.

While collaborating at RFR (real estatet, development and management company) I had the unique opportunity to participate in many design excellence projects in the public realm with Firms such as Herzog&DeMeuronn, Kohn Pederson Fox, Costas Kondylis, Tsao & Mc Cow, Hines, Della Valle Bernheimer and others.

Partisipating with Susan Doban gave me the wide experience on Construction Documentation, Scope Reports, Contract Administration and auditing more than 30 remodeling and rehabilitation projects for the School Construction Authority (SCA) as well as other educational institutions.

Corgan Associates Architects, New York, NY, US, Architect / Project Designer

During the time at Corgan I was involved mainly in the renovation of terminal 4 of Delta Airlines at JFK International Airport. It included the original historical building from PANAM and its many previous interventions. The scope of this project lead also to renovate terminal 2 for Emirates Airlines.

At the time in Daniel Frankfurt I team up as project designer for the Fulton Street Transit Center, a massive project that improves the downtown rapid transit system that connects 12 separate subway lines, street entries, underground stations, passages and the new signature transit center building.
