I am currently a fourth year architecture student at Keene State College in New Hampshire. I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a minor in Safety and Occupational Health Applied Science. I am actively searching for a position as an assistant project manager or anything in that sort of managerial realm. I was traveling and studying in New Zealand last spring and am eager to move again and experience something new!

Over the past couple of years working in this position, I have had the pleasure of working in larger teams of Resident Assistants that include 13-15 staff members. In this position, I oversee and maintain the safety of students in an assigned residence hall. I administer Community Development and Student Support programs for residents in order to help create a stronger and more knowledgable community. I conduct Individualized Interactions with students, facilitating a personal connection with each resident.

Working during the summer and winter breaks, at this firm I worked closely with each member of the firm in order to create presentation materials using Sketchup, Layout, and AutcCAD. With that I have created Excel spreadsheets quantifying the costs of renovations in comparison to adding square footage to the entire building as well as producing powerpoint presentations as necessary. Additionally, I actively participate in on-site visits and various project meetings with my coworkers and principals of the firm.

As one of the managers I share the responsibility of training new employees of the daily procedures. I aid in maintaing supplies as necessary for the computer lab to run efficiently. I am responsible for on-call hours throughout the week as well as assist students as necessary with any printer and/or computer complications.

As a liberal arts school I have had the great opportunity to study both architectural and general education classes. My general education classes includes chemistry, physics, various Holocaust and Genocide studies classes, public speaking and concert band.

As a study abroad student I fully immersed myself into the Maori and Samoan culture by taking society and culture classes in these areas. Additionally I took a Maori language course and and Introduction to Tourism class.
