Presently a Senior Registered Architect and Principal of GOODSPEED ARCHITECTS, INC., a professional Architectural Design firm located in north Georgia; serving clients in Georgia, Florida and North Carolina; I have continued the goals and principles that I have maintained throughout my career centered on excellence through serving clients, placing their needs first. I am driven leader in my community and my profession, and give back my time and talents to where I live and prosper. I have had a very fulfilling architectural career over the last four decades. My most rewarding accomplishment has been the contributions to my community. I have been blessed with strong personal and professional relationships and the opportunities to contribute to the well-being of others.

In firm leadership I have held several titles including Owner/Principal, Partner, Vice President and Senior Associate. Most importantly though is my role as a mentor, nurturing younger professionals towards excellence. I have led Building Envelope Initiatives orchestrating envelope design professionals and establishing firm standards and protocols, limiting liability and improving the practice of Architecture.

As an Architect I have held numerous project leadership roles. Marketing, Client Management, Programming, Project Design; Project Architect, Project Manager, Technical Leader, LEED Envelope Commissioning Agent, Forensic Building Assessment Agent, and Construction Administrator to name a few. I have authored and negotiated contracts, specifications, and design concepts. My experience and building construction knowledge positions me as a QAQC Leader. My knowledge also extends to Current Building Codes and governmental guidelines as well as the ability to adequately plan a project design to eliminate change orders and project cost over runs through the quality Project Management practices.

I presently have homes in Blue Ridge, Georgia north of Atlanta, and Brandon, Florida about 12 miles east of Tampa.
