About

My name is Joshua Didriksen and I have been studying Landscape Architecture since 2009. I am currently a student in the Landscape Architecture program at Rutgers University and will be graduating with a BA in Environmental Planning and Design in May 2013.  I have always had a passion for graphic design and art, and the LA program was a great fit for me. I am passionate about designing space and experiences, properly choosing and creating aesthetics, and operating all the requisite software including Adobe Design Suite, ArcGis, Rhino 3d, and Autocad. I am a capable leader who enjoys being in a leader position but understands how to facilitate group discussion and collaboration without bossing people around. As Vice President of the only student chapter of the NJASLA I am familiar with organizing events, delegating roles and responsibilities, and interfacing with different groups of people (Faculty, students, alumni, etc).
I have worked on projects at a variety of scales including backyard or residential designs and large national parks, one of which, Hopewell Furnace National Park in Pennsylvania, just won an award from the Van Allen Institute. Take a look at my profile and portfolio at issuu.com!
