About

My name is Oded Narkis and I'm an Architect, originally from Israel.
Since last March I'm living in Shanghai, for the past year I'm working as an Architect and urban planner in a big international firm located here in Shanghai.
My interest is in Architectural projects, from the first sketches and concept thoughts, through the planning stages and design, till the final details. Searching this days for a new job in which I can have much more responsibilities & influence, a place in which I can contribute & grow.
As I'm very interested in China and also global development I'm Looking for an office working on both Chinese projects and International projects.
The passion for the field is very big for me as well as the desire to succeed, develop & create.

I finished my Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) in Tel Aviv University at 2011.
My connection to China in general & Shanghai in particular started more than two years ago when I came here for the first time, participating in the collaboration between Tongji University & Tel Aviv University - "Re-planning Tilanqiao, formerly the Jewish Ghetto in Shanghai" - This was my program graduation project. At the end of the second visit a year and half ago, after being fascinated from this huge city in all layers I decided to move to Shanghai and start my professional career here.

I'm sure I can contribute a lot to your office and at the same time gain significant experience.
Love to work in teams and also to lead, I'm very responsible and hard worker, my human relations is one of my best qualities as well as my loyalty to the office and my colleagues.
Would like to work closely with a lead design architect to develop and execute the design utilizing my range of skills and experience
