About

I am an architect by training and a graduate of Harvard University's School of Design, where I pursued a Master's Degree in Architecture specializing in new materials investigation, mathematical modeling and computer aided design. The work I undertook while at graduate school consisted of exploring fabrication processes such as robotically wound carbon and glass fiber structures, 3D digital woven textiles for light structures, and the programming of 3D printed rigid and soft multi-material structures.

Throughout my career, I have worked as an architect, fashion and product designer in New York City. My experience on various projects ranges from proposal presentations, CD sets and spatial interior/ exterior renderings for luxury residential architecture studios such as Carlos Zapata Studio. The more recent positions I’ve held as a 3D modeler and designer consultant have required me to quickly generate and efficiently prototype wearables for product, jewelry and fashion designers such as Lee Savage and ThreeAsfour- by creating proper 3D print files, creating photorealistic renderings, and completing spec sheets for production.

I’m currently looking for a design position at a collaborative team-based design agency that will embrace the multi-faceted and unique design capability I offer. I have a vast understanding and knowledge of materials and fabrication processes such as laser cutting, cnc milling, casting and vacuum forming.

My skillset ranges from Adobe Creative Suite to Revit BIM modeling. My personal work reflects an ability I have to problem solve and to execute ideas- bringing abstract sketch concepts into fruition of tangibles and visual products. Please visit my website www.socadesignstudio.com for a visual portfolio of my work.
