As a jack-of-all-trades I have experience in general construction, framing, concrete work, plumbing, tiling, furniture construction, irrigation, lighting, etc. in addition to my design experience.
I moved to Corvallis, Oregon, in 2011 and began working for Fifth Season Landscape Design and Construction, a two-person company. Working for Fifth Season has helped me gain valuable experience in the business side of the design industry, especially finding the balance between great design and affordability.
I have extensive experience preparing architectural presentations, both hand-drawn and digital. My preference is to work digitally, using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator; however, I also have some experience with watercolors.
Additional hobbies include digital photography and photo manipulation, t-shirt and tattoo design. More of my work can be seen at http://society6.com/RenderedUseful
Fifth Season LLC, Junction City, OR, US, Designer/Builder
My work with Fifth Season Landscape Design and Construction covers a wide variety of tasks and abilities, from pre-design through construction. On a typical project, I create base plans from scratch, develop schematic designs, develop designs into construction documents, and create and install architectural elements in addition to plantings, landscape lighting, and irrigation. I frequently coordinate with subcontractors for metal fabrication, some electrical installations, and natural gas lines for outdoor fire features. Using SketchUp, Revit, and the Adobe Creative Suite to generate visual representations of our designs has helped the company procure many residential projects.
