About

As an Interior Designer with a variety of experiences in social media marketing and hospitality, I am confident that I can bring a unique perspective to a junior designer position. I have gained considerable passion for the Interior Design industry through my involvement in ASID and IIDA over the last 6 years.  As Student Representative to the ASID board I traveled around New England to speak on the importance of professional organizations.  I also worked to bring students together with design professionals by organizing an event called "Architects Meet Designers." My involvement with professionals organizations is very important to me as a young designer.

Through my experience at Creative Office Pavilion I learned the importance of teamwork when gathering accurate programming information from clients.  Efficient communication, drawing and attention to details are critical in turning out final projects in a furniture dealership.  The knowledge of furniture specification and space planning skills I have gained would bring specific insight to any design team.

While working at the Ballotti Learning Center at Suffolk University I developed and presented the first Revit workshops the university offered.   These workshops were given to groups of graduate and undergraduate students. Through educating others I learned the importance of outlining specific steps in order to solve a problem in.  As well as how to effectively community important information with other designers.

Through all of my experiences I have always maintained an interest in marketing and social media. While working as an innkeeper at Clarendon Square Inn I created posts in order to effectively market through their social media platforms. I look forward to taking the next step in my design career with a company that has a diverse client base and promotes new ideas, mentoring and collaboration in the design process.
