I am a recent graduate from the University of Washington, Seattle.  I recently moved to New York and am currently looking for work.  My interests are in integrated systems architecture and urban planning, but all forms of architectural expression interest me.  I am currently looking to expand my knowledge of sustainable systems and how they can be integrated into architecture.  I believe architecture and the built environments can represent the aspirations of our time.  Email or call me anytime to talk about design and New York City.

Independent study, Amman, JO, Documenter

I used savings from previous work to fund a nine month travel plan that would start off in Amman, Jordan, where I studied the regional architecture and take me throughout Europe, Great Britain, Italy, and India. The travel piggybacked onto upcoming two quarters of study abroad during fall and winter quarter.

University of Washington, Seattle, WA, US, Student Technician

I worked for the College of Built Environments computer services department, providing technical assistance and services to the colleges multi-building computer network. The position gave me first hand experience in managing everything from student's printing needs to faculty network and program set up. The position was part time and required sharing work with other shifts to provide seamless services for the department. The position was held during my time in architecture school. I left the position to pursue a nine month global study.

Dec 2009 - Jun 2011

I worked with lightening designers and engineers on both residential and casino/hotel electrical, working with programs like Auto Cad, interpreting architectural drawings and sketches to make professional working drawings for electricians and construction managers, and doing in a team based environment. I left the positions to pursue a college degree in Seattle.

University of Washington, Seattle, WA, US, Architecture

One of the great things about the University of Washington and the reasons I sought out the school was it reputation as a regional hotspot for sustainable development and education. My studies allowed me access to many amazing resources including global travel, an interdisciplinary architecture, landscape, urban planning, and real estate college, several environmental sciences courses, and a expansive adjoining park ecosystem to study from. I could not have asked for a better undergrad experience.

Aug 2008 - Jun 2012
