Spatial Design Technology & Integration (Spatial DTI) is a certified small business that specializes in design, moves, space management and facilities information management.  As Business Development Manager for Spatial DTI  I was responsible for identifying commercial and federal business opportunities, developing and maintaining new business leads and pipeline opportunities, developing sales strategies and strategic alliance partnerships (teaming), leading request for proposal efforts, developing technical approach for IT solutions, performing high level sales presentations, developing project cost proposals, preparing project schedules, assist with capture management and proposal production; attending industry day events and federal business conferences; conducting market research and coordinating requirements for internal resources, in support of our sales team.

Also, as a subject matter expert in integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) and space management technology, I provided the leadership, direction and marketing strategy to develop a new IT focused service sector to expand our business market.

As Project Coordinator of the 30 million dollar OCC Headquarters Realignment project I managed a team of architects, interior designers, graphic designers and IWMS specialist on a variety of projects. My responsibilities included overseeing the production of construction documents in coordination with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical. electrical, plumbing, acoustical and lighting); construction management, project scheduling, budget tracking, MAC, interior refinishing and furniture installation coordination; development of space standards, space requirements and forecasting future space needs; processing contractor’s pay request approval and conducting weekly project status meetings with OCC management; developing move migration and phasing plans for 800+ OCC employees and coordinating personnel moves with various departments within the OCC. I also oversaw the operations of the OCC’s IWMS system used for departmental space planning, move requests and the tracking of organizational “head counts” nationwide and provided regular reports to the OCC’s Director for Real Estate.

Additionally, I was responsible for developing new business for the firm. GGA established a separate “professional IT service department” called IBIS (Integrated Building Information Services). The GGA-IBIS practice focused on the practical application of design, construction, project management and space planning technologies that allowed our clients to organize, access, manage and track critical building information. GGA-IBIS used integrated BIM, IWMS and business intelligence dashboard technology to compile critical building data into an easy use interface, allowing the project team (contractor, designers and client/owner) to access vacancy, lease, space management, O&M and energy efficiency information, as needed, to achieve a more comprehensive integrated facility life-cycle management approach.

As Director of GGA-IBIS I performed high level sales presentations, developed technical proposals, provided technical expertise and developed IBIS marketing strategy. Under my direction GGA-IBIS was successful in winning federal contract awards with FEMA & GSA.

As Regional Account Manager, I was responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relations for customers throughout the Southeast region of the US. I worked with Centerstone’s fortune 1000 clients (director level and above ) consulting them on industry best practices and how to leverage the functionality of the eCenterOne IWMS/CMMS application for space planning, space forecasting, space management, personnel management, lease management, condition assessment, building operations and maintenance.

I was also responsible for capture management and proposal development; developing business leads, strategic alliance partnerships and pre-sales solutions; conducting client sales presentations; maintaining project schedules and budgets; developing company sales and marketing strategies.

As an IT solutions consultant my efforts focused on working closely with administrative and management level personnel, to integrate advanced technology in support of client space management, space planning, space forecasting initiatives. My responsibilities included developing implementation plans as part of a IWMS implementation; coordinating building system data collection effort for MEP building equipment, conducting space use physical site survey, managing  teams of programmers, system specialist, architects and engineers; perform interior design, space planning, space management, space forecasting and other facilities design services.

As Project Manager, I performed project coordination, construction management, move coordination and furniture installation management, space planning, interior design CAD support services for tenant build-out projects for AT&T at their Dulles Corners, Reston location. I provided technical support for program management, systems integration and training on various CAD/CAFM system projects. Additionally, I managed service-related consulting projects for several architectural and interior design firms within the DC Metro area.

As Principal of ARCHISYS I developed and nurtured business and client relationships. I was responsible for proposal development, sales and marketing strategies for corporate and government opportunities. I was also responsible for evaluation, recommendation and implementation of technology solutions in support of client projects, programs and initiatives.
