About

Currently I am an architect living and working in Pretoria, South Africa. I recently completed my Professional Practice Exam (from the South African Council for the Architectural Profession) and will soon register as a Professional Architect. During my 4 year's of work, I have learned a lot about design, practical solutions and contract management. I am interested in modernist forms, though not the cold, unpractical types of the original buildings, but of a more realistic, almost natural approach. Further fields of interest in achitecture are minimalism, deconstructivism, context-related projects, environmentally responsible designs and the aesthetic use of functional elements (e.g. services).
