Instead of talking about what I’m capable of doing, how about telling you what I love doing. From my years of doing construction, from framing, trim work, to electrical, I’ve always had a knack for the details and how things work.
As I was paving the path for my future in construction I started looking to hone my skills in the Interior environment. At the time I wasn’t aware of the Interior Design profession, but quickly became interested and found a great school in Iowa where I started my education at Iowa State University (CIDA accredited).
Fast-Forward past my education and professional years of doing Interior Design work. I still love going into various environments, restaurants, bars, clubs, hotels, etc. and critiquing the craft of the Interiors. How the people in the space interact and what senses are triggered as I experience the space myself.
Interior Design is a great field and I love designing spaces that impacts the user in a positive way. I’m always looking for new design challenges as I broaden my horizons. I hope the next space you walk into, that it will have a positive impact and those small meticulous details that make the atmosphere “special” was tastefully done, thought-out, by an Interior Designer!
