As part of his program at the University of Cincinnati, David worked as an intern for  The SmithGroup JJR Architects (Phoenix, Arizona), Lippincott Brand Strategies (New York, New York) and Archi-Tectonics (New York, New York). Each internship lasted for 6 months total.

After graduation David worked for 3 months at Michael Mcinturf Architects (Cincinnati, Ohio). He then returned to Archi-Tectonics, where he worked his way through the ranks before settling into his current position as Design Director, overseeing both office and design responsibilities.

Throughout his career David has worked on many high profile projects, including Ports 1961 (Shanghai, China, and Paris, France), and the prestigious V33 Condominium Building (New York, New York). Several projects that David has worked on have been written up by publications such as Interior Design Magazine, Mark Magazine, The Architect's Newspaper, and Surface Magazine.
